MAKTEK Fair, organised in Konya, is one of the most important events in Turkey's machinery and machine tools sector. This fair contributes to the development of the industry by bringing together the leading companies, professionals and innovative technologies of the sector. In 2023, TEKİŞ KALIP was one of the companies participating in MAKTEK Konya Fair. Drawing attention with the new technologies it has developed, TEKİŞ KALIP attracted great attention with its 6 Axis CNC Deep Hole Drilling and Milling Bench exhibited at the fair.

TEKİŞ KALIP was founded in 1984 by Kamil Özoğul, a Mechanical Engineer, and operates in Çayırova, Kocaeli. The company, which has achieved significant success in the mould sector since its establishment, closely follows technological developments and offers solutions suitable for the needs in the sector. In 2009, under the leadership of Mechanical Engineer Şamil Özoğul, one of the company partners, the company applied to TÜBİTAK's R&D Start-up Support Programme and successfully completed the ‘Deep Hole Drilling and Surface Milling in Moulds’ machine design and manufacturing project in 11 months.

Attaching great importance to R&D activities, TEKİŞ KALIP has accelerated its CNC machine manufacturing activities in order to develop export-oriented products, especially for the Turkish industry, by the end of 2022. Filiz Özoğul Şahinoğlu, partner and General Manager of the company, stated that they want to further develop the 6-axis CNC Deep Hole Drilling Machine with precise and fast deep hole drilling technology, which is needed not only in the mould sector but also in many industries. He also emphasised that they aim to be a pioneer both domestically and internationally in the production of machine where all angled holes and milling operations on the part can be performed in a single connection.

TEKİŞ KALIP's participation in MAKTEK Konya Fair has once again demonstrated the innovative approach of the company in the sector and the importance it attaches to technological developments. The 6 Axis CNC Deep Hole Drilling and Milling Machine exhibited at the fair was met with great interest by more than 30 thousand visitors and strengthened the company's position in the sector. This success is an indication that TEKİŞ KALIP will continue its R&D studies and technological investments in the future.

As a result, TEKİŞ KALIP's success at MAKTEK Konya Fair has reinforced the company's leadership in the sector and once again demonstrated Turkey's innovative power in the machinery and mould sector.
