TEKİŞ Celebrates 40th Anniversary

TEKİŞ Walks into the Future with its Strong Past and Innovative Vision in its 40th Anniversary

Founded in 1984 by Kamil Özoğul, a Mechanical Engineer, TEKİŞ celebrates its 40th anniversary with the firsts it has brought to the Turkish industry. Özoğul, which brought the first wire erosion machine to Turkey, has left its mark on the sector by providing pioneering services in many sectors, especially jewellery and mould making.

CNC Milling Machines and Mould Set Manufacturing

In 1995, Tekiş added CNC milling machines to its structure with significant investments and started to manufacture moulding machines in the same year. These investments further increased Tekiş's production power and enabled the company to achieve sustainable growth in its new location.

Investment and Development Process in Kocaeli

In 2003, Tekiş moved from Istanbul to Kocaeli, where it continues its operations in a 5000 m² closed area in the TAYSAD Organised Industrial Zone. This strategic relocation not only increased Tekiş's production capacity but also enabled it to establish a strong operational network in Kocaeli, one of Turkey's industrial centres.

TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB Approved R&D Projects

In 2010, Tekiş successfully completed its first TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB approved R&D project under the leadership of Assistant General Manager Şamil Özoğul. This project reinforced Tekiş's determination to develop innovative solutions based on technology. The company has increased its competitiveness in the sector with the R&D projects and innovations it has contributed to the industry, and has gained a solid place in the global market.

Investments Continue Unabated

In 2011, Tekiş transferred its experience in the moulding sector to the heating and cooling sector and invested in copper tube forming production and became a reliable supplier of many main industries in Turkey and Germany.

By 2021, TEKİŞ, which produces moulding and copper tube forming, decided to commercialise its R&D products. Believing in the power of Turkey's SMEs and young entrepreneurs, the company established CNC Horizontal Milling, CNC Deep Hole Drilling and Electric Heavy Load Carrying vehicles production lines and realised its first machinery export with the Machinery Fair in 2024.

With more than 40 years of experience in the sector and R&D investments, Tekiş continues its investments for the future without slowing down. With its production processes based on advanced technology, customer-oriented approach and quality understanding, Tekiş continues to increase its competitive power on a global scale.

40th Anniversary Celebration

On 19 December 2024, TEKİŞ celebrated its 40th anniversary with all its suppliers, customers and industrialist friends. In the event, which started with the opening speech of General Manager Filiz Özoğul Şahinoğlu, the ‘TEKİŞ 40th Anniversary Choir’ under the direction of Conductor Tolga Gülen gave the participants pleasant moments with their songs. TEKİŞ continues to take firm steps towards the future with its strong past and innovative vision.
